Elsa leads Canalys’ research on sustainable ecosystems. She brings over a decade of experience in sustainability consulting, public speaking and research.
Elsa is known for her public persona and has written more than 30 articles for Amnesty International, The Independent on Sunday and others. She has presented over 20 videos for organizations such as Schneider Electric and Vestas. Further, she has appeared on stages and on podcasts around the world. She is a recognized public speaker and an authority on the role of companies to do good for society and the environment.
Most recently, Elsa worked for Schneider Electric for three years, advising other organizations on sustainability. Elsa’s focus areas included renewable energy, electric vehicles, energy efficiency, scope 3 supplier programs, ESG target setting, materiality assessments, ESG reporting and disclosure. Elsa has worked with tens of companies to help design projects to reach net zero. Prior to Schneider Electric, Elsa also worked for Vestas, the wind turbine pioneer, implementing its first-ever sustainability strategy.
Elsa has also launched several workplace diversity, equity and inclusion networks, organized events streamed to over 12,000 people, and trained employees on topics including intersectional gender equality, anti-racism, LGBTQIA+ allyship, anti-ageism and anti-ableism.
Based near London, Elsa is on a mission to ensure that diversity, equity and inclusion, and environmental, social and governance issues are accessible, understandable and actionable for companies.
